Dr. Samit Jain is a Consultant best gastroenterlogist in mumbai currently associated with all leading south Mumbai hospitals. He has the postdoctoral DM (Gastroenterology) degree as well as a DNB in Gastroenterology.

He has 20 years of clinical experience and 11 years of experience in the field of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Endoscopy.

Dr. Samit Jain is highly skilled in providing clinical care in in-patient, out-patient and intensive care settings. He has considerable experience in performing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures with a high level of competence, and has performed more than 10000 diagnostic best doctor for gastroscopy in south mumbai and 5000 colonoscopies, besides having performed more than 3500 Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) and 3000 ERCPs independently. He is proficient in various therapeutic endoscopic procedures including variceal ligation, variceal injection, endoscopic dilatation with bougie and balloon, best endoscopy doctor in south mumbai treatment of ulcer bleeds, polypectomy, argon plasma photocoagulation and other common procedures. He is also familiar with oesophageal / anorectal manometry and pH-metry procedures, and has independently done sphincterotomies, oesophageal stents, and percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomies.

Dr. Samit has gained valuable teaching experience at TNMC. He has presented several seminars, lectures, and interesting clinical cases at various GI conferences and forums. Dr. Jain has also contributed with several papers connected to his area of expertise, which have been published in national and international journals, and in addition has also presented abstracts at various conferences and other forums. A regular award-winner and topper for his outstanding academic efforts, Dr. Jain is conversant in English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati and French.
